Battlefield Bad Company 2 is due for release in South Africa on the 5th March 2010. However EA and Dice have decided to run a Closed Beta of the game. This Beta is already live, and the servers will run until the 28th February 2010. In order to be part of the Beta you are required to Pre-Order the title.
There are several servers, and for the most part they are full. However this truly is a Beta, there are already several problems that have crept up here and there that EA and Dice are planning to fix for the full release! Even with the bugs and balance issues the game is still nothing short of spectacular!
The action is intense and the game play is fast paced. For the time being =BFB= is already making a name in the BFBC2 beta, people fear our squad's and they know when =BFB= hits a server. We play to win! Take a look at a few screenshots below! |

=BFB= once again competed in another Incredible Connection One Night Cup. This time around Afrihost sponsored the prizes, and bandwidth was the name of the game! Five 5GB accounts for first place and Five 3GB accounts for second place. =BFB= fielded both of our line-ups, laRd and muPtarDs. The muPtarDs struggled with their new line-up, and unfortunately were knocked out in the first round. The loss however has spurred them on to log the hours needed to practise and improve! laRd had a slightly better run of things, managing to make it to the Semi-Final's with relative ease. In the semi-final, laRd met Prodigy. It was clear that Prodigy had put a lot of work into their strats and team play, and their grenades where fantastic. laRd made a few basic mistakes and lost too many players to basic grenades. However a final scoreline of 13 - 10 to Prodigy meant BFB would once again take home the 3rd/4th title. It must be pointed out that both teams however got struck by the addiction that is Battlefield Bad Company 2! With very little practise BFB is proud to once again have a top 4 placement. And we want to spur the muPs onto bigger things for the next competition! |

As many of the members of =BFB= are aware, competitive gaming becomes a lifestyle. Much like any other sport, the dizzying heights of a well earned victory to the saddening low's of a bitter defeat. The competitive game is something both fantastic and hidden at the same time. All the emotion, passion and energy that happens during the South African competitions are often hidden away from the prying eyes of the public and the non competitive gamer. In Europe however, things are different. Where they have thousands of teams, and hundreds of servers for every single game you can imagine competitive gaming is become more and more main stream.

Once again Incredible Connection will be putting together another One Night Cup. This time around, Afrihost is providing the prizes, in the form of 25gigs worth of bandwidth for first place and 15gigs worth of bandwidth for 2nd place! Can =BFB=laRd take top honours again this time around? Will qu1k_sh0t have power for the entire evening? Will there be 3 overtimes to knocked Brazen out once more. Provisionally it looks as though both =BFB= laRd and =BFB= muPtarDs will be taking place, with the new 2010 roster's. Lets see how far the big fat B*stards can make it!

As I am sure everybody is aware, the highly anticipated title Battlefield Bad Company 2 is getting closer and closer to release date! The closed beta starts on the 28th January, and in order to get your hands on one of the 100 Beta Keys that Incredible Connection has. You need to Pre-Order the title here! 
The Pre-Ordering of the game will not only ensure that you receive your copy, and give you a Beta Key to be used on one of the local servers that pops up (Yes we are getting some). It also allows the gamer access to several new unlocks as well, the Thompson .45 Sub machine gun, motion sensors for tanks as well as hardened armour to say the least!
