muPtarDs Lineup

The Story

The team was formed during the last few months of 2008. =BFB= had created quite a reputation within the COD4 community and a large amount of interest in the clan and people wanted to be part of =BFB=.

With the laRd team doing well and progressing to the Premiere League, we had several new members within =BFB= that wanted to play COD4 but were not part of the laRd team, so Greg “n0rseman” Henry got things started and drove the team forward in it's beginning stages. In addition to the captain and a few players we recruited Grant “Hypocr1sy” McWilliam and Nick “Darkness Dawns” Hardwick into =BFB= and integrated them immediately into the team.

The team was formed so fast it was scary, and right from the get go the team showed promise. Entering Division 2 and with some experience from the laRd team, the muPtarDs forged ahead. As the team was formed largely because of the enthusiasm and drive of n0rseman, when he had to go offline for end of year exams it left a fairly large hole in the team. This was when  the current captain arose. Nick “Darkness Dawns” Hardwick filled the gap quite quickly, taking charge of the team and leading them to victory in the Division 2 Tournament, remaining undefeated. Playing 11 games, winning 10 and drawing 1 game, the team progressed to Division 1.

As 2009 kicks off the muPtarDs have brought some new talent on board and with the energy and enthusiasm shown last year, we are expecting the muPtarDs to grow and do as well,if not better than, Division 2 2008. In addition to the AGASA league, the muPtarDs have also entered the BOTCv2 tournament and iGame's Intel League.
