With the new year, and new games being released that offer different opportunities, distractions and levels of competitive play. What is in store for =BFB= this year? Last year both Call of Duty 4 teams competed in the AGASA Premier League, meaning that 2 of the top 12 teams in SA were from our very own small collection of players. To top it off, they both qualified and ended up competing at rAge 2009, with the =BFB=laRd lineup placing 2nd overall! Loosing narrowly in the final 11 - 13. Looking ahead however there are some tough decisions to make. =BFB= has competed in Call of Duty 4 tournaments since the game was released late in 2007, with players like Trevor "qu1k_sh0t" Henry, and Carl "d0ggeh" Hirschson competing in a =BFB= lineup in every single tournament from the release of the game. That works out to over 2 years of competitive play in a single game alongside one another. =BFB= has played in nearly every single tournament that SA has hosted, from the SGS leagues, the AGASA leagues, iGame leagues, BOTC, FFA competitions, 2v2 HQ Tournaments, Sniper comps and more! Looking ahead however what is in store? Battle Field Bad Company 2 is being released, and the =BFB= players are itching to get back to their BattleField roots. Quake Live is growing slowly and with a small push, some Capture the Flag Leagues could be in order! Topping it all off COD4 is continuing ahead into 2010 with support from DoGaming and the COD4 players themselves. I ask =BFB= players the following questions as we draw closer to sign ups for the AGASA leagues, please take the time to look at several threads, the Compulsory Read with a small Questionnaire, the BFBGaming Thread, and then the respective team threads for laRd and muPtarDs. One way or the other, =BFB= is here to stay and hopefully we can reach even greater heights!
