The DoGaming BFBC2 league is drawing nearer to completion. With only a handful of games left to be played across all 4 groups before the league draws to a close. =BFB= FlaBBeR has done exceptionally well this leg already with only one loss to group leaders Inglorious Basterds. =BFB= had to win the last two games of the leg in order to qualify for the Premier League and they have completed the first objective by defeating the HF Kalenjin side. The game was by no means a walk in the park with the Flab only managing to win by 9 and 31 tickets respectively. Below is a small summary of the game by a member of the Armour squad 5abre. The game against HF was a very tight game... We had practiced against them a week and a half prior on the same map and handed them with 60 plus tickets both rounds. So the lads didn't think to much of the game until it was go time.It seemed that they had pulled the perverbial wool over our eyes, somewhat "loading" their team. We were a bit taken back to see that they had recruited players such as Vermaak, Bloodslug and Grim. The map was Laguna Presa, i think. We started the first round on the northern base. Armour squad pushed "A" and IO pushed "B". Only to encounter a very strong resistance. Before we could push them back they had taken all three flags, "A","B" & "C". We regathered our fighting force and with the "Force" on our side we managed to push back and regain control of "A" and "B". They were leading by about 25 tickets or so, when we swithched a few players to medics and ended up winning by 9-0. Second round we started on the southern side of the map with Armour squad pushing "A" and IO pushing "C". IO had no problem capping "C" and moved onto "B" where an epic fire fight ensued. It was a tug of war tale at "A" between the two opposing Amour squads but once the dust had settled the "A" & "C" were ours. Calls for ammo were going out but were not answered. Alas where was "JohnGuy" when we needed him (LMAO, sorry JohnGuy couldn't resist your rants to play assault). The battle was of epic preportions with revives on either side keeping the ticket count locked at a tie. The IO guys had had enough and sent the enemy back to their base to regroup. When the final attack came we were ready with all hell breaking loose at "A". The war had been won. 31-0 to us. All and all it was a very good game. Congratulations and well played to both teams. =BFB= FlaBBeR have to defeat SSG tonight on Panama Canal to book our spot in the Premier League.
